Spectacular views in this beautiful spaceous home. Positive: Beautiful house with comfy beds and lounges. Spectacular view to wake up to each morning. Previous reviews mentioned the driveway but although daunting the first time out X-Trail handled it without having to use the AWD. Experiencing this home is well worth it. Negative: Nothing

Beautiful home - but be prepared for the steep dirt driveway. Positive: Isolation, wildlife, lovely home with views & the host was generous with supplies and extras. Log fires amazing as is the lake view. Negative: The very steep gravel driveway from the road to home is treacherous and somewhat unsafe for a 2wd hire car and average driver who has driven 2 or more hours to get there. We had hire motorcycles as well and it was stressful to negotiate the driveway or alternate access lower 4wd track via the boat ramp as recommended. We left the car on the upper road during our stay and used the lower accrss track for the motorbikes. If owners could invest in an all weather driveway it would transform the experience totally.

Positive: The place was as described absolutely beautiful setting. Driveway is steep but manageable however coming from the east entry road near pub is best 👌 Enjoyed the stay emencely Negative: Lock box is behind switchboard not visible the one near door on gas had us fooled for a while trying the code bit frustrating in the rain also plenty of firewood but blocked carport so unable to park under cover.
