Modern Coastal Escape in Triabunna

A reasonable property one km from Maria Island ferry. Positive: Property is reasonable and the air conditioning works well, along with the washing machine. The fact there is no internet was communicated several times prior to arriving and did not pose a problem for us. It is a good location for those wishing to visit Maria Island. Negative: I don't like receiving emails requesting five star ratings, particularly when the property is clearly not five stars. The absence of internet is obviously a disadvantage, and whilst there is a clothes line outside, there is no clothes dryer, or dishwasher. Also no light over the mirror in the bathroom, and the bathroom light itself was not working, but at least 3 of the 4 heat lamps were which gave sufficient light. The free to air TV works fine, but has annoying sub-titles across the top that we were unable to clear. There are joiners on the blind cables that restrict the range of travel, the one on the western wall to the point it cannot be raised. Many of these are minor issues that can be easily remedied, or put up with, and should not stop you staying there, but overall it is simply not flash enough to rate too highly.

Positive: Great value for money in a comfortable, renovated home. Handy location for accessing the Maria Island ferry.

Positive: It was close to ferry for Maria island Negative: Very sterile and cold environment, did not match pictures. Owner or caretaker seemed to have a lot of conditions, and wanted us to take garbage out and dispose of it.

Everything was great. We enjoyed the location and proximity to local areas of interest.
