Elegant Escape Minutes from Hobart’s Best Spots

Great stay for a long weekend exploring Hobart, good central location and house has a modern cottage feel. Positive: Good location to Salamanca and wharf area, easy walk down hill. Cheap Ubers when needed and quick pick up times. Lovely modern cottage style house felt like we had enough space comfortably for 4 adults for 4 days. Everything was clean and tidy and well maintained. Quick responses and information from host. Enjoyed our Hobart getaway from the Gold Coast, lovely place with lots to do. Negative: There wasn’t individual heating in each room just the main lounge room air conditioning and oil heater in lower hallway. The upstairs bedroom although had a freestanding plug in heater the guest in that room felt cold at night. Seeing as we were staying in Winter and not so used to the cold better heating in bedrooms would be preferable.

Fabulous! Positive: The property is so close to all the amazing sites in Hobart - a stones throw from battery point and Salamanca place - nestled in a beautiful and quaint area. The house is incredibly well equipped with great tech, it’s modern and spacious. Negative: The only issue we had, was not knowing how to use the oven properly. Despite reaching out about how to use it, we still couldn’t work it. It’s quite high tech.
